If you’re looking for a place to start, definitely get Stickers on Fruit, Gaelic Envy, or Unexpected! Nancy cuts to the heart of the matter--and often it’s the heart that is the matter. Unexpected also has Nancy’s most powerful political song, “Desaparecidos.” If you are a parent, then Momnipotent: Songs for Weary Parents is also a great place to start—it’s a shiny, round support group! Most of the items come with extensive liner notes for those of us who are not up on Canadian politics, although that is almost not needed for Gaelic Envy.
