I came across this record on the sales table in 1975 when I joined St. Thomas
Church. It was in a white sleeve. It is "33 1/3 RPM Microgroove." It does not say
stereo and does not sound stereo. The date is unknown. If anyone has any ideas, please
contact me.

Improvisitation II by Gerre Hancock - 1976 - Stereo LP issued by Gerre
Hancock - Available as of 1997
These improvisations were recorded at St. Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue at 53rd Steet in
New York. Since the essence of inprovisation os spontaneity, the tapes are un-edited
and un-engineered - being, instead, largely the product of the artist's inspiration of
the moment. Hence, ambient noise and registration changes are includedl the music is
presented here exactly as recorded. Produced by Miner Raymond, III. Recorded by E. T.
Herzog, Audiocraft Recording Company, Cincinatti, Ohio, at St. Thomas Church, New
York, New York. Photogaphy by Bachrach.
